OVER 27 YEARS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
Our staff has worked in the law enforcement community in Utah and other states for many years. Rising through the ranks VPI’S staff worked in patrol, detectives, police instructors, to supervisors. VPI’s investigators have worked for local police departments in Utah and other states, the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing as a Senior Investigator, and for the Utah Department of Insurance, Fraud Division, as Criminal Investigators.
Our staff currently instruct classes at the Utah Police Academy (POST), instructing classes in firearms, including handgun, patrol rifle, and also Emergency Vehicle Operations (EVO). VPI’s staff are expert trainers in the areas of report writing, firearms, defensive and pursuit driving, prescription drug investigations related to insurance, and many other subjects.
Our staff are expert investigators having worked cases involving multi-million dollar insurance fraud cases related to medical fraud, property fraud, life insurance fraud, agent fraud, arson, staged accident rings, homicide and many others. These investigations resulted in the court ordered recovery of millions of dollars and lengthy prison terms for the convicted.
VPI strives to remain at the “top of our game” related to current criminal trends and fraud schemes.

OVER 35 YEARS FEDERAL/MILITARY EMPLOYEMENT AND TRAINING:
Our staff members have worked for the federal government in many capacities. Starting in the Military having served in Army and National Guard VPI staff members served at tactical levels and strategic levels, ranging from Logistics, Combat Reconnaissance Operations, and Intelligence Analysis.
Our staff members also worked for the federal government as civilian contractors as intelligence analysts, background investigators, and assisted in the planning, preparation, and analysis of operations within the Global War on terrorism (GWOT).
Our staff members worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) as taskforce members, contract employees, and as full-time FBI staff members working as an Embedded Intelligence Analysts and supervisors.
Our members are currently credentialed through OPM to conduct background investigations for federal agencies. All of our staff members have had, or currently hold, some type of security clearance through various federal agencies.
